An area of focus for the Federal Government, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), school educators, parents, and students has been to safely return to in-person learning at every K-8 school and high school across the country. As part the American Rescue Plan, the Education Department for the Federal Government has allocated $122B to fund the needed resources for schools to start in-person learning. One of the key areas of focus for students and teachers is COVID-19 testing.
In a report commissioned by The Rockefeller Foundation, they determined that
COVID-19 testing of all students, teachers, and staff can reduce in-school infections by an estimated 50 percent through a weekly, robust COVID-19 testing program
using an antigen rapid test as a screening tool.
SARS-CoV-2 testing can seem like a choice between accuracy and rapid turnaround time. The rapid Accula SARS-CoV-2 Test uses proprietary Oscar™ PCR technology to shorten thermocycling times and provide a result in 30 minutes. The Limit of Detection (LoD) is among the lowest measured for the FDA SARS-CoV-2 Reference Panel.
As an intended point-of-care (POC) designated test performed by medical professionals with a 10 minutes processing time, CareStart™ COVID-19 Antigen Test helps provide critical answers about active infections to patients and healthcare workers alike.
━ Lateral flow assay ━ Rapid results in 10 minutes ━ Anterior nare (nasal) specimen collection ━ Intended at POC setting (i.e., in patient care settings) by medical professionals with a CLIA waiver
Detect SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid protein antigen ━ Identify acute infection with 87.2% sensitivity and 100% specificity
Our molecular qPCR laboratory utilizes industry leading equipment including the latest technologies from ThermoFisher and operates under the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) guidance issued by the FDA and CLIA quality standards.
PCL utilizes a multiplex qualitative rt-PCR test has been validated by state and federal experts for high-throughput COVID-19 diagnostic testing. We test for 3 RNA sequences that are specific (100% homology) to SARS-CoV-2 as well as 1 control sequence. This means that the incidence of incorrect results is extremely low. This test has a reported 99.9% accuracy in identifying positive clinical samples.
We offer an extremely competitive turn around time. Test results are typically available the same day we receive the sample.
Our goal is to help get your institution up and running safely. We are also available to work with you to determine testing frequency for employees/clients and can adjust this schedule as needed. Our sample acquisition personnel are available to manage sample collection and transportation
Our SELF TEST is performed using a nasal swab. Our testing protocol uses a nasal swab rather than a nasopharyngeal swab, for enhanced patient comfort during self administered sample collection.
Our laboratory uses one of the world’s best rapid point-of-care lateral flow immunoassays to aid in the diagnosis of coronavirus infection. The test detects both early marker and late marker, IgM/IgG antibodies in human finger-prick (capillary) or venous whole blood, serum, and plasma samples. The COVID-19 IgM/IgG Rapid Test has a combined sensitivity and specificity of 100% and ~99% respectively, making it one of the most accurate and reliable tests in the world.
Urine Drug Testing is a simple and quick procedure where a patient provides a urine sample in a clinical setting for the purpose of medication monitoring. UDT is essential for doctors and medical professionals who are prescribing any medications that have the potential for addiction, abuse, drug-to-drug interaction, or diversion. Drug testing keeps patients safe while allowing doctors to provide better medicine and protect their liability.
An excelling Pharmacogenomic laboratory with a singular focus of providing a set of genomic data to healthcare professionals that is easily understood and interpreted to precisely tailor drug therapy based on individual genetic variants. A team of highly skilled molecular biologist and the state of the art equipment is dedicated to this mission. Our goal is: “Right drug for the right patient at the right dose and time”.
